Feel the light electric dancing through the air...

I've been looking at what I've uploaded recently, and it all seems to be following a theme of "girls with dark brown hair who more often than not bear a not-always-coincidental* resemblance to myself." I feel like I should do something different, but most of what I've been doing lately is more costume designs for "Linden." Of course, she actually -is- me, so I'm not sure that quite counts. The orange skirt is out; it's a little bit too long and I keep tripping over it or stepping on it or getting it caught on things. (And then when I tie it up shorter to avoid those problems, I get asked if I'm attempting to seduce the demons that we're fighting. NO I AM JUST THROWING ROCKS AT THEM. ...Unless you're saying that would work?)

It seems I can knit and read my neuroanatomy textbook at the same time, however not for long, as I keep getting distracted from one or the other.

I'm having trouble deciding on the spelling of my imaginary planet. So far have thought of Mirraceda, Merracida, Miraceeda, Meraceeda, Merraceeda. If I went with Miraceeda, I wonder if it would be in the system of the star Mira? Heh.

So I'm in neuroanatomy this morning, and the professor is talking about choroid plexus, and asks if we've seen it in our lab courses... it being morning, there is little response. So she says "Maybe I can bring over a brain, it's actually quite nifty."

*Lydia is not supposed to look like me, but I do use myself as a model to get poses right, so I can understand the resemblance. Linden IS me, and Deirdre is my terrible fanfic character. I use "terrible" as a description of genre, here, not quality, as she was the sort of girl who ends up with the boy that I think is pretty. (I don't think it would work out, actually; he'd find her annoying and she'd have punched him in the face by the third season. I can't even write -bad- fanfiction. ) Of course, now I like her better in her backstory, -before- she meets any of those people.
